Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi

Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi
空から降る一億の星
One Million Stars Falling from the Sky / The Smile Has Left Your Eyes

Kanzo Dojima (Sanma Akashiya) is a shabby-looking cop. He's thinking of retiring and maybe starting a noodle shop.

Ryo Katase (Takuya Kimura) is a mysterious man. Nobody understands what's going through his mind.

One day, these two men bump into each other. Focusing on a murder case, the story unfolds in an unexpected way.

Maybe it was a mistake that the two men met...

And there's Kanzo's sister, Yuko (Eri Fukatsu). She seems to have some connection with Ryo...

The story opens after a young female student kills herself by jumping off a balcony. It's soon discovered that she was in fact stabbed, and the room arranged to make it look like a suicide. And so we begin. A few minor details lead Detective Kanzo (Akashiya Sanma) to suspect that Ryo (Kimura Takuya), an enigmatic chef's assistant, knows more about her death. The two have run into each other by chance a few times, and each time left Kanzo with an uncomfortable feeling. Every clue that is revealed seems to lead to more questions about Ryo, his obsessive girlfriend, his callous and manipulative relations with several women, and about a painful memory from Kanzo's past. Things get more complicated when a powerful love/hate relationship develops between Ryo and Kanza's little sister, the beautiful Yuko (Eri Fukatsu). What exactly is their connection? As the evidence (and body count) rises, Kanza tries desperately to save his sister from Ryo's influence. He's no saint, but is he the Devil Kanza thinks he is? And why? The answers will floor you, even when you think you've got them figured out already.

KAREI NARU ICHIZOKU - The Grand Tribe

Originally a novel by Yamazaki Toyoko, and later a 1974 movie. The book depicts the conflicts within the Manpyo family, which is famous in Kansai's financial circles, amidst the tumultuous reorganisation of the financial industry of the late 1960s. Unlike the book, the eldest son, Teppei, and not the father, Daisuke, will be the central character of the drama.

This drama is set in the late 1960s decade of Japan. The main rivalry depicted in the story is between Manpyo Daisuke (Kitaooji Kinya), a powerful banker, and his eldest son, Manpyo Teppei (Kimura Takuya), the executive managing director of a steel firm. For some reasons, Daisuke seem to dislike his own son and as Teppei seems to find out the reason for Daisuke's hatred, his whole life is turned upside down with fatal consequences.

Tadinya gw pikir Kimura Takuya adalah Won Bin,sekilas emang mirip apalagi kalo lg ketawa.

Asli ceritanya bagus banget....sayang endingnya tragis banget..gw ma puji ampe nangis sesenggukan....padahal bukan cerita romance,..orang dr awal teppei-san jg uda married n punya anak...all bout politics and business....Great story & best drama ever. Bener2 deh...

AZUMI

kisah yang diangkat dari anime manga ini luamayan bagus..pertama kali liat cover DVDnya aja gw langusng tertarik.. jadi hapal ma aya ueto yg jadi azumi....yg jd nacchii juga manis lho....

Azumi (あずみ) is a manga (Japanese comic) series created by Yu Koyama. It concerns the title character, a young woman brought up as part of a team of assassins, charged with killing three warlords that threaten Feudal Japan with an agenda of war and bloodshed.
Azumi was adapted into a popular and extremely violent action film by Ryuhei Kitamura in 2003. A sequel, Azumi 2: Death or Love, directed by Shusuke Kaneko, followed in 2005.
The movie was produced by Mataichiro Yamamoto, and has been distributed to the US by his company, Urban Vision Entertainment, on their label AsiaVision. The film was given a limited nationwide theatrical release beginning in July 2006 with a DVD released November 21, 2006. Azumi has been broadcast on television in the UK, on the Film4 channel.
After the Battle of Sekigahara, a samurai is tasked by the Ieyasu shogunate to raise a band of assassins to finish off Toyotomi's allies and other ambitious warlords, to prevent another civil war.
Azumi, played by Aya Ueto, is discovered as a 7-8 year old girl weeping next to the body of her dead mother by the samurai master Gessai, played by Yoshio Harada, and his entourage of young students. Azumi is raised in the martial skills of samurai and shinobi sword fighting, and the art of assassination. Azumi and her fellow classmates, now at young adult age, are constantly being told about a "mission" they must accomplish, though they have no idea what this mission is yet.
Prior to setting out on their mission, their master orders his students to "pair up" with each others' best friend and proceed to kill each other, thus out of 10 students only five will remain to proceed with the mission. Questions and internal conflicts begin to arise amongst Azumi and her comrades as it seems their mission even prevents them from saving a village of mostly women and children from being masacred at the hands of a group of bandits, as their primary mission is to kill the warlords Asano Nagamasa, Masayuki Sanada and Kiyomasa Kato. Aside from the warlords, Azumi must also deal with a narcissistic mercenary, "swordsman in white", whose sword has no handguards as he claims to never have had to defend against attacks
Immediately after the final events of the first film, Azumi and her remaining friend are stalked by the men of a warlord she recently assassinated. Upon escaping, they are out-numbered and "out-gunned" and must join forces with a local resistance and a group of ragtag freedom fighters in order to kill the remaining warlord and bring peace to Japan. To make things even more complicated for Azumi, she must also confront her emotions in regards to a fighter who bares a scary resemblance to her deceased schoolmate and friend Nachi

After finishing the round, Eriko’s husband comes to pick her up, andNaoko is surprised when she sees his face. Eriko’s husband is the handsome man who saved her fromthe drunk man. Naoko’s heart starts pounding, and she can’t help but envy Eriko’s happy life. Whenworking women reach their 30s, they start to worry about various things; “How long should I continueworking for this company?”, “Will I marry the man I am dating?” “If I continue living like this what will Ido when I grow old?” etc. In this drama, the main character, who is a 32-year old single woman workingat a prestigious trading company, suddenly finds herself as one of the elders at the office, being a bigsister to her younger co-workers.
